Adventist Health Plans Urgent Care Center for Dinuba

DINUBA – Adventist Health expects to begin construction on West El Monte Way this year on a new urgent care and radiology center for Dinuba and the surrounding area.

Development of the estimated $4.5 million, 7,200 square-foot center is under way and construction is expected to begin in May, with completion by the end of the year. The center, on the south side of El Monte just east of Walmart, will provide full-time imaging, radiology, laboratory, JobCare (occupational medicine) and extended-hour urgent care services for the region.
“We’re honored to bring more health care services to Dinuba,” said Richard L. Rawson, President and CEO of Adventist Health / Central Valley Network. “Community leaders, physicians and patients have been very supportive of our other services in town, and we enjoy being a part of such a special community.”
The Valley network currently provides care at two other locations in Dinuba: a Community Care clinic at 1451 E. El Monte Way, a site formerly operated by Tulare County; and Laboratory Services next door at 1441 El Monte Way. Adventist Health also operates nearly 30 other Valley sites, including Selma Community Hospital and the new Adventist Medical Center and Central Valley General Hospital in Hanford.
Fresno-based builder-developer G.L. Bruno and Associates will build the center on a 1.76-acre parcel. Care staff will provide:

  • Extended-hour urgent care
  • Occupational medicine care
  • Medical imaging, radiology and laboratory services in:
    • X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT) and ultrasound rooms
  • A laboratory draw station and specimen testing area
  • Spacious reception areas

“We are working with local doctors to ensure we are developing services that will meet the needs of the community,” Rawson said. “The new urgent care center helps us to continue our vision of providing the best place to receive care, practice medicine and work.”

Adventist Health employs more than 2,400 people throughout the Valley. More information about Adventist Health services, physicians and jobs is available at www.AdventistHealthCV.com or www.facebook.com/AdventistHealthCVN.
